FEVAD 2023 e-commerce report highlights

The FEVAD has published its report on e-commerce in France for 2023.

With €160 billion in turnover, online sales recorded a 10.5% increase compared to 2022. However, it is important to note that amid persistent inflation and environmental challenges, consumer behaviour is changing. After a 7% drop in product sales in 2022, this market has somewhat stabilised in 2023 (-1.8%). In 2023, the e-commerce market experienced growth with mixed results. Shaken by inflation and consumer trade-offs, this report also provides insights into potential developments, including the continuous growth of the second-hand market.
